Founded by a Survivor

In 2010 our founder, Carl McIntyre, was resuscitated with an AED after a sudden cardiac arrest. He founded AED NZ in 2011 with a single mission: to ensure every New Zealand workplace, sports club and community has access to the same life-saving technology.

AED NZ has since supplied defibrillators to NZ Police, Fire & Emergency NZ, hospitals, schools, sports clubs and thousands of businesses across the country.
